White Door lyrics - missing words

Post by Richard »

Anyone able to help with these?

That which does not kill us
Makes us stronger
That which does not kill us
Makes us stronger...stronger...stronger
She stood there waiting...
Destined to fail
I see...
A white door...up in the sky
I see a white door
See him laughing
See him cry
See him laughing
See him lie
I see a white door
Now all they do is laughing
I see a white door
Way up in the sky!
On the other side
It's open...why?
Genocide...
It's open...but it...please you now
...???...suffer
Bye bye!
Don't you get down on your knees for no-one!
She died on her way up...
She's not here anymore! She cried
White door...in the sky!
Don't cry!
As you go under...as you go down
Under the ocean...under the ocean
You reach out...you reach out
For something...for something
To believe...to believe
Doubt nothing
Be not deceived
It's so cold on the other side
She's not here anymore
Liar
No it felt good
Felt good...inside
it felt good
It touched me
I've known love...
Happens all the night too
No compromise
That which does not kill us
Makes us stronger...swimmers
Oh my god...the torture chamber...
Yesterday is dead and gone
Tomorrow is out of sight

In regards to any missing lyrics....
I imagine we’ll never know those difficult to hear spoken parts to the songs Dawn wrote. Surly there are notes she had, obviously. She had many notebooks.
Though isn’t the best part of music the journey rather than dissecting every little thing. Yeah having all correct lyrics would be great. It’s open to our own interpretation.

I guess it's the other side of the medal. I'd like to know what Dawn sings, but not exactly knowing it does make for a certain degree of mystique. Try the "Killing the Pain" lyrics on for size, though, nearly 100% mystique there!
